Services

What we actually do.

Four areas of work. Most engagements start with the first, because foundations that are wrong make everything after them cost more.

01

Websites

A site built from the ground up to be readable by search engines and by AI assistants — not retrofitted afterwards.

Most small-business sites are built to look right and optimized later, which is why the optimizing never quite works. Building the other way around is cheaper and faster: structured data, clean semantic markup, sensible URLs, and real page speed cost almost nothing when they go in at the start and cost a great deal to bolt on at the end. Sites are built on Astro and served as static files, so a page arrives as finished HTML rather than as a JavaScript bundle that has to run before anything is readable. That distinction is the whole ballgame for AI crawlers, most of which do not execute JavaScript at all.

What that includes

  • Five pages, written and structured around what people actually search for
  • schema.org structured data on every page, so machines can parse your services and service area
  • Semantic HTML that renders without JavaScript — the actual test of whether an AI crawler can read you
  • sitemap.xml and a robots.txt that deliberately allows the crawlers you want, rather than whatever a plugin decided
  • Fast by default: static Astro pages, no WordPress or page-builder bloat
  • Svelte islands for genuinely interactive features, hydrated individually
  • Google Business Profile and Search Console connected before launch
  • Everything registered in your name — domain, hosting, and code stay yours

03

AI Visibility

Be the answer when a customer asks an AI assistant instead of typing into a search box.

When someone asks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Google AI Overviews for a recommendation, the assistant answers from what it can read on your page and from how the rest of the web describes you. Sites built only for human eyes frequently give these systems nothing usable: content that only appears after JavaScript runs, business details that disagree with every directory listing, and nothing written that is not already published in ten other places. Those three are where the evidence actually points, and they are where we start. We publish our confidence level for every practice we use, including the ones included as a hedge rather than sold as a promise.

What that includes

  • Structured data for entity resolution and rich results — worth doing, and not the thing that gets you cited
  • Entity clarity — one consistent, corroborated description of who you are across the web
  • Content written to be quotable and citable, not just readable
  • llms.txt and crawler policy, included as a hedge rather than sold as a lever — no measured benefit today, and cheap if that changes
  • Baseline and ongoing tracking of which assistants mention you, and what they say

04

Technical SEO

The groundwork everything else depends on — crawlability, speed, architecture, and schema.

You can do everything else right and still lose to a site that loads faster and is easier to crawl. Foundations work is the least visible and highest leverage part of the job: it makes every future improvement compound instead of leak.

What that includes

  • Indexing, crawl paths, redirects, and canonical audit
  • Core Web Vitals and page speed
  • Site architecture and internal linking
  • JavaScript rendering and crawl-budget issues
  • Migrations without losing rankings
  • Analytics and Search Console configured so you can see what actually changed

Not sure which of these you need?

That is what the free Visibility Snapshot is for. It tells you which of these is actually costing you customers right now, so you are not paying to fix something that already works.

Every practice above is published at what we know with the strength of the evidence behind it, including the ones we include as a hedge rather than sell as a lever.
